I woke up this morning to the news that my very good friend Syringa Marshall Burnett has passed due to complications with the ChickV. I was going to visit her this week while I am here as I always do. She was a very good friend and we did so many projects together. The last being the development of the Caribbean Community for Retired Persons(CCRP) with Jean Lowrie-Chin. She was an excellent President of the Senate and a role model for me in politics. RIP Syringa and condolences to her husband Jasper and daughter Jackie and her grandson who she loved so much.
