I won an NSERC Industrial Research and Development Fellowship! After 20 years in the academic game, its my first NSERC award, so Im rather pleased about that .... Ive also been waiting on bureaucrats since May, and I quit my last job in July and threw all my eggs into this basket, so Im even more pleased that my long patient gamble has finally worked out: nerves of steel baby. This secures funding for me to work with Mirexus Biotechnologies in Guelph for 2 years: my first real job! :-)
