I wonder what the U.S would do if Mexican cartels got ahold of - TopicsExpress

I wonder what the U.S would do if Mexican cartels got ahold of scud missiles and randomly from a southern border shot them into Texas. Would we retaliate with ground forces if the Government of Mexico lost control of containing these Hamas like groups. If they were shooting from populated areas near Mexican citizens homes I think we would target as much as we could the area from the line of fire. Unfortunately innocent lives would be lost, guessing more from the southern Mexican border (collateral damage like when we shocked and awed Baghdad). These seems to equate to what Hamas is doing in Gaza. They have intricate tunnels, like the cartels, which run under innocent Palestenians s homes and send surface missiles near populated areas. Ground troops would be ideal but that would lead to more massive American live s lost just like it would the Israel army. For this, I understand why they have chosen not to send in ground troops. Sad situation. Hamas government control in Gaza and has made it clear they want the state of Israel destroyed. Iran has made it clear, supporters of Hamas, they want Israel wiped off the map. Israel has no choice but to defend itself. Just like we in Texas would have the right to protect our families from such an event. Right? Our am I missing something.. .
