I would NEVER pay a trainer, coach, or instructor to SHAME me for being fat. Most fat people already have that shit down to a science. Your role as one of the above mentioned, is to be an ALLY to your clients. It is a cooperative relationship... One does not work effectively without the other. You are the EXPERT about what you know. Your clients are EXPERTS about them. Ive heard trainers & coaches say stupid shit like, Its my job to break you down, to build you up. BREAK ME...TF are you talking about? Ive heard trainers & coaches say shit to people that was UNBELIEVABLE.... and these folks PAID good money for it. Dont get me wrong... I understand its a challenge motivating the unmotivated at times. We can make Yall jobs difficult as hell. Some of us only hire trainers because we want to shift accountability for our lack of results & success onto someone else. I suspect thats because deep down some of us come to you believing that we cant or wont change. I dont envy your jobs. Lol. The best of you really help people get to the WHY of the health & fitness lifestyle. You EMPOWER your folks. They leave you BETTER & not defeated or broken. The great ones work themselves out of a job & create new instructors, trainers, & coaches. Im fortunate enough to know some Great ones. Im not tagging none of Yall tho. If your heart is into what you do...than Im talking about you. :) :)If its not... Well... I see Yall too. :/
