I would appreciate prayers for my mom, Luisa, and wisdom and Gods leading for my sister and I as we seek to find a loving, caring and safe place for my mom to live. It has been a difficult three weeks as she has been in and out of the hospital, suffering myoclonus and a massive seizure which has left her with much more confusion than her normal baseline. Her decline has been rapid and very difficult for us as we see our mom slipping away mentally. She is no longer able to care for herself needing help with all personal care and cannot even carry a conversation or answer simple questions and at times unable to recognize us. This week she will be evaluated by her Neurologist, case manager, rehabilitation hospital staff and primary doctor in hopes of giving us a clearer picture of her diagnosis, possible treatment if any, and care plan. Then we begin the search for a nursing home or assisted living facility. I know the Lord loves her and has a plan for us all in this. Trusting Him to guide us and give us strength in the midst of our sadness. Thank you so much for any and all prayers said on her and our behalf. I know there is power in prayer so Im believing this week will end with much Praise and Glory to Him.
