I would like to dedicate this song to some specific individuals who have lied, cheated and intimidated a group of individuals for FAR too many years. Disclaimer: Im sharing an open letter in hopes that it actually ends up reaching some specific individuals and encourages them to rethink where the path THEY ARE CHOOSING, is leading them. Feel free to bypass this message otherwise. I am not a person to stand by and watch injustice happen. Its always interesting when you cant make sense of why youre brought to a situation. No doubt my time here is a temporary one (others cant make that choice), but I now see why I was led here. I have the choice to ignore what is happening, turn my back and walk away or stand up against wrongs that are being unjustly inflicted upon others. Im all about doing what is right whenever you have the opportunity. The individuals you have consistently wronged, may believe you hold too much power and control for them to fight back (as they have been conditioned for years to believe), I dont. In case you are not aware by now, Im not easily intimidated. All you were expected to do was to be fair and honest. When you realized your wrongs were coming to light, you could have stepped down and just walked away from the situation. You do know that your actions and misdeeds will more than likely become public knowledge, right? There are quite a few individuals who will never see how something so seemingly small is worth your personal reputation, family name and livelihood? Theres one of you in particular who it seems is being positioned to be the fall guy. As far as many of us can see, you have the most to lose in this. It makes no sense why you (of each of those involved) didnt just walk away when you saw all of this unfolding. It makes others wonder what it is that is to be found out connecting you so strongly to this. This is truly a situation that had an easy resolution. How serious is it that you would each risk so much? Oh well, I hope this finds its way to each of you...why didnt you just do what was fair and just? I really believe that would have been a much easier route to take from the onset. I will however continue to keep it in my prayers for you to do the right thing in this situation. This battle isnt a desire, there is no pride involved (but God does give me strength in this), its an unfortunate necessity, brought about by your refusal to cooperate and just come clean otherwise. This could have stayed among a small group of individuals but you personally are forcing it into the open. My personal suggestion. Call a meeting, confess EVERYTHING, provide every piece of documentation requested, make restitution to those you have wronged, willingly give up any rights you have to make decisions on behalf of those you have wronged and live a peaceful life. Im sure that you can be forgiven by those you have wronged and may even live a much happier life because of that forgiveness. Its not entirely too late...yet.
