I would like to explain my plans and vision for the camp I long to start which shall be called the Golden Key. A place small enough to be personal and private, yet large enough to be able to accommodate 12 families each week with each family offered their own separate cabin and offering them a week vacation with all meals included. During the day the activities to be offered will be focused on art and exploration. We plan on having several art studios offering different types of opportunity for families to create art and fun,.. together. Many artists have already offered to volunteer there time to this camp. The art created here will be for sale to help support the camp. fundraising is very very time consuming and unpredictable so I am in prayer ( and have some incredible plans) for ways for the camp to have an income of its own eventually to fully support itself rather than year after year seeking sponsors and donors etc,. we would rather have the camp be able to support itself. This is the greatest thing I could possibly do with the rest of my life and I am fully committed to doing this for these children. I am extremely grateful to all who pray for this vision, pray for the kids to heal,.. and pray for the families in the journey of childhood illnesses like cancer.
