I would like to provoke your minds to think deep about the issue of gender based Violence in Namibia. Most of the lives lost are of our youth who have promising lives ahead of them and who have the potential to take this country to greater heights. Men and women of Namibia; why should we wipe out the cream of our country, the future of the nation? I thought as a country just emerging from a very bitter and long struggle for Independence, we should strive for a better way of life. We should know the price of life and we ought to jealously protect it. freedom fighters crossed many rivers of blood during the struggle to get to where we are today with the hope of a better life for all our citizens in a free and united Namibia. We therefore cannot allow gender based violence to jeopardize what so many sacrificed for NB. whatsover a person does it will not justify killing
