I would like to say as much as I miss spending Thanksgiving at the FORT with all my Disney friends.....it was great to be home after 5 years of being at the FORT. I spend the first half of the day at my oldest daughter Jessica Boudreaux Sisto house with my granddaughter Kayla Plaisance her fiancé Trey Brewer my son in law Carlos Sisto, his mother, her sister, Carlos father, his brother Jesus and their first cousin who is 29 the same age as Little Bee who was also there. Jessica prepared everything in the book to eat and it was delicious and I have always loved my family but now I know how important they are to me and they make my life complete.... At around 3:30 I left my daughters house and went over to my moms house where Big Bernard , Little Bee and myself was to have dinner with my mom, my oldest brother James and my second oldest brother Jerry.... Well as much as I dont like saying this me and my older brothers have had some issues because of the way they have choose to live there lives. I really thought that I would invite them to come because of my mothers age 82 and the fact that she is getting older and has had a heart attack during the summer and that they would want to spend Thanksgiving with her....well we waited and neither one showed up. Guess sitting in a bar room was more important than having dinner with your family...Oh well lesson learned you cannot change people that dont want to change :( My Mother cooked a wonderful meal also all the things I remember her cooking as a child, but it made me sad because I know my father who has passed away was looking down on us saying JUDY you tried and that is all you can do.....People nothing is promised to non of us so do what you can and no matter what dont let anyone burst your bubble life is to short to quit trying and I missed too many years with my mom because of the conflicts with my brothers I dont want to miss another minute of her precious life or mine :) Thanks for listening to my Thanksgiving story and I hope it helps just one person have a better day.
