I would like to say hello to everyone its been along time. My whole life has changed since 1-27-14 when I lost my best friend. Many of you were kind during this time and I will be forever grateful. A lot of you have been wondering how I have been doing and I guess to be honest I still feel a .little stunned but yet calm inside. I have been very fortunate to find an awesome church which is located in Edgerton called Life Changing Realities Fellowship. Its a church like no other and one in which Roger and I had been searching for years. We have been going there for almost a year now and looked forward to going again the following week. Our church is getting ready to expand big time and we were both excited, wanting to renew the faith we once had in our youth and to pick up where we were 35 years ago in our Christian walk. But like a lot of people we got tired and discouraged and began to back pedal. We became prodigals or as other people call backsliders. I once heard that there is no one more miserable than a backslider because they are ones who once walked with God and got to really know him and for reasons known only to US and him WE decided to lay it all down and do our own thing. Over time we did start feeling the concequences. Where a person who has never experienced that doesnt know the difference. I apologize if I am sounding preachy to some of you that is not my intent. I just wanted you to know that inspite of us God has taken us back and renewed our spirits. Fortunately for us we did it before hand. If this had happened a year ago I would have been rolled up in a ball with a straight jacket on. I know without a doubt where Roger is someday I will join him. You know on the day of his passing I asked God why? And the only thing that came to mind was that we both came to a cross road. His time on earth had come to an end and my life is continue on. I dont know what He has in mind for me to do but I just want to do whatever it is.
