I would like to say what I think about the shelter situation I was very impressed by what I saw and the vol. were some of the most loving, positive people I have meet. They all had smiles on their faces and they were adopting animals. I am new to this city but have always been involved in animal rescue, it was a passion for my wife and myself, and soon become involved with the people at the shelter. I have been asking around about where I could vol my time, I was so disappointed about what I heard and have read about the animal welfare group, they seem to me that they are always posting negative remarks about the girl Rene, people if you cant love your fellow man how can you love animals, I do not like negative people who try to harm other groups or the shelter, do they not know we are all out for the common wealth of the city. Since my wife passed I want to continue with animal rescue in her memory and I have no children and will leave in my estate a large sum of money so these precious vol can continue their mission. What has made the animal welfare group so disconcerned and angry, you must love your fellow man or else you cant love an animal, I would ask of that group to support the shelter, our mission is all the same we want to help Gods precious animals; and find them loving homes. God has blessed the shelter today and everyday because they came forth to help.
