I would like to take a moment to thank God!! He answered my prayers today, and I am so very blessed. We met with a pediatric neurosurgeon in Jacksonville this morning. When Collin was two months old we were informed that he had a small soft spot. A normal soft spot is the size of a half dollar where Collins is the size of a dime. He seemed to be doing great with no problems. But, when he turned six months old we noticed a ridge down his forehead. Since there are only 200 of these doctors in the nation we had to wait, until we could get an appointment. We got the best news today with the best possible outcome. Only his frontal suture has closed which the doc said is A-okay. That is just how he is. He will not need surgery. He is right on track as far as his development. A few celebrities like Heath Ledger and Hugh Jackman have a ridge, and they are still really good looking so I know Collin will be just fine. I am so thankful to put this behind me, and to never think of it again :)
