I would like to take a moment to thank all my investors. All 3 of my children have reaped the rewards of those that invest their time, love and prayers into others. My oldest son Chandler carried quite the burden throughout his childhood/teen years and has grown in many ways. So many people throughout his life invested themselves into making sure he knew they cared and God loved him. The Sunday school teachers & Awana leaders that helped teach him the importance of knowing Gods word in his heart. The Christian educators investing their time & efforts in making sure he understood how all subject matters from history to science are all connected and function without chance under the direct control of a loving God. My gratitude deepens as I think back on how challenging it must have been for Chandler to function as a normal teenager while carrying what seemed to be an insurmountable burden for his sister and mom as we both fought for our 2nd chance to live. Those investors that stopped to offer him an encouraging word, a pat on the back, an invite to a fun event..it all meant a lot. A thank you to those prayer warriors that invested their time praying that maybe he would one day see that all things happen for a reason. Those that invested their listening abilities as he opened up regarding his challenges and fears. I am thankful to all that invest into the lives of children especially mine. God hand picked the investors in Chandlers life and I am thankful for them all! I say all that to give an open invite for all to come hear him this Sunday 9/21/14 at 11am at Macland Baptist Church as he opens Gods word and shares how God used his difficult circumstances to help build his faith & love in our Heavenly Father.
