Spending almost 3 weeks in the hospital was not how we expected our life would be when Austin arrived. Thursday evening Austin was finally released from Nationwide Childrens hospital. We finally received answers. Austin is either missing part of his pituitary gland or it is just too small for the doctors to see. This means he isnt producing a certain hormone that tells his adrenal glands to produce cortisol. So what Austin has is adrenal insufficiency. We are very thankful to finally be home where we belong.
