I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank the following seven FOP Lodge #57 members for giving of their time today to serve Thanksgiving Dinner to the Hilltop Senior Citizens. Ru Perez, Shotgun aka John Fulton, Nelson Newburn (and his two kids: Matthew and Jillian), Carleta Fernandes and Rick Fernandes, Bobby Wilson, and Robert Taylor. It was a pleasure to meet a couple of other volunteers today, James and his wife from the Shiloh Cathedral of Praise. James is the Pastor of Shiloh Cathedral of Praise: https://facebook/pages/Shiloh-Cathedral-of-Praise/208322692590859. They are amazing and loving couple. It was good to see all returning volunteers as well. All of the volunteers worked together to get everyone fed, even with the confusion of the tickets, do we take them or not. I got to see a lot of smiling faces and not a single complaint about the food or service. There were a few FOP members and their family that could not make it this year due to either health reasons, or other family obligations, and you were missed.
