I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ted for organizing the Patient Day of Protest on Parliament Hill bringing patients together from coast to coast as we expressed our displeasure with the MMPR and explained to the country what is wrong with a plan that could criminalize critically and chronically ill Canadians or otherwise compromise them. Thanks to John Conroy for making time from his busy schedule to be a part of this milestone occasion! A special shout out to Steve at the Vancouver Pain Management Society who made it possible for me to be there as we continue to fight for the of ALL patients! This would not have been possible if it had not been for Teds foresight and long range planning. Thanks Ted for making this a reality and for helping patients to get our voices out to the nation! CBC poll shows that 90% of the country support patient gardens!!! The people of the country support US! Yesterday established the fact that ONLY the conservative government see this as a public safety issue, see us as criminals and a threat to our communities!A special thanks to Alison Myrden, who despite excruciating pain, was able to be a key spokes-lady! NONE of this would have been possible without the leadership of Ted Smith!!! Thanks for making this a reality!
