I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Brigantine Fire Department for giving my little grandson, Ryne Jacob Lock, the thrill of his little life. Although only 3 1/2 years old, he loves Firefighters, Fire Trucks and anything with a siren that goes zoom, zoom. While in Brigantine this past week, we stopped by the Fire Station to see if we could possible show him a Fire Truck up close. He not only got to Drive a truck, but had a real Fire Fighter give him his own personal tour showing him the trucks and engines that were at the Fire Station. He also let him hold some real equipment such as an Axe and The Jaws of Life. As you can see from the photos, Ryne was so excited and has talked and talked to anyone who would listen, of his adventure. He was also given a wonderful goodie bag including his Fire Fighter Helmet and a Jr. Fire Fighter Badge, which he has worn proudly.
