I would like to take this time to make three announcements. 1- I am stepping down as Director of the Jr. High baseball program. During my time as director I was privileged to work with all the coaches and the students who participated with this program and it was a tremendous experience. I want to thank some people, coaches, parents, students, umpires and Glenn Penwell for all the assistance of the past few years. I am in no means completely through with this program so people may still see me around doing some things. I want to hope that this program will continue to grow and be even more successful in the future to help develop those students into better baseball players who will move into the High School ranks and help that program strive. I again want to thank everyone and wish all the upcoming things for this program the best. Thank You all!!!!! 2. At this time I want to welcome and congratulate Douglas Gall as the new Director of the Jr. High Baseball program. I believe that Doug will be a great asset to this program and will help to not only help the students grow in knowledge but also in skill. Doug has a large amount of experience and I am certain this program will strive with his direction. If you know Doug please take the time to congratulate him. I ask that everyone give Doug all the appreciation and cooperation that I received when I was director. Congratulation Doug Gall !!!!!!!!! 3. I previously stated that I was not completely through with this program and this is why. We have decided this evening that this program will now have a committee just as the Summer Recreation Program does. So, I will be running this committee with Glenn Penwell, Doug Gall and all the coaches that will be assisting during the season. Our objective as a committee will be to make this program grow and strive, develop new ideas, handle any issues that Director Gall may request assistance with and so forth. As a committee we will be meeting prior to the start of season and then possibly every week after the games take place. I am certain you will hear more things to come in the future. If you would like to make suggestions please forward those to me through a facebook message and I will bring them to the committee when we meet.
