I would like to thank my campaign team for another successful day of door knocking. Had some great at the door conversations with the citizens of District 9 and received good feedback. After our day of door knocking, my wife and I attended the Gallatin Quarterback Clubs dinner and silent auction fundraiser. As we sat talking with friends, I began to scan the room and I was reminded of all the incredible people that have passed through Sumner County schools over many decades. The room was filled with students, teachers, administrators, parents, many current and potential officials and business men and women who made all this possible. They prove that by giving back you can make a difference. Last night was about bringing community together and the pride everyone still feels today for the Green Wave. I had the opportunity to talk with several teachers and administrators who praised Sumner County schools and the great job that everyone does to ensure that the students of Sumner County get a quality education. It was good to hear positive feedback. I would like to thank all teachers and administrators for their dedication to mine and your children. Its going to be busy in the coming week continuing Boots on the Ground - stay tuned!
