I would like to thank you to the fire alarm inventor that in his ultimate wisdom, created a device that still works even after the battery is dead and the battery is removed from the device. That 3 am wake up call by the chirping noise it makes that only the clinically insane find soothing, sure was nice last night. Combine that with not having any 9V batteries at home and a 3 am 7-Eleven run to get those batteries that no other devices use, needless to say it was a very relaxing start to Fathers Day. Moral of the story, stock up on 9V batteries like its the only saving grace if the apocalypse ever comes!!!
