I would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and all the best in 2015. Regarding the film The Interview, I wanted to be clear with you all that we do not generally show that genre of film. We have some fine film booked over the next several weeks that people have been waiting a long time to see at the Colonial. Could we make a lot of money with The Interview (if we could even get it)? Maybe, but what is the point if we disappoint our regular patrons who have supported the theatre from the beginning and patiently waited for interesting and sometimes under appreciated film to come to the Colonial. I am happy that the other independent theatres have the programming flexibility and screen space to address this important issue and show the film. I certainly support the idea of making the movie available for people to see. Thanks to all of you who enjoy the Colonial and to those who donate each year. We could not do it without you!!
