I wrote this in response to a hard atheist. I thought you guys might like it :) I have previously explained that the comment there is no proof for God is not only wrong, but a ridiculous statement- The entire Universe is the evidence of God- A super complex, interconnected super system intricately balanced in such a way as to sustain life and intelligence. To change the value the strong force or weak force, or gravity, or any other small numerical value of any physical law would cause the entire system to collapse on itself and you and I would not be having this conversation.- The reason the universe works the way it does is because the universe was designed to be that way- When you look at a house you know it was built by an intelligent force- It has a roof to keep out water- Posts and beams to hold up the structure, it has a plumbing system, and an electrical system- it could have cameras, a security system, it could have smoke detectors, and the garage could contain tools. You KNOW an intelligent being created the house because THE PIECES FIT SO WELL TOGETHER, AND ARE SO UNIFORM AND FUNCTIONAL THAT THERE IS NO OTHER POSSIBLE EXPLANATION EXCEPT THAT THEY WERE PURPOSEFULLY CREATED FOR THOSE FUNCTIONS. Yet your body is infinitely more complex than a house- for it contains blueprints for the body (DNA) a hard structure to hold up its walls (bones) it has a roof to keep out moisture (skin) it has cameras to survey the world (eyes) it has a plumbing system for waste (digestive system) it has a security system to keep out danger (immune system), it can detect smoke and other fumes (olfactory senses) it has complex tools (hands) and can detect heat and motion, it can hear and touch and breathe self repair and THINK with its electrical computing system (the brain and nervous system).. And yet you look at that house- one which the entirety of humankind has been unable to unravel and reverse engineer- one that we cannot replicate with all of our intelligence and computers and biotechnology- you stare at billions of those beautifully built housers of souls and you say it COULD NOT HAVE A DESIGNER. And that sir, makes you the most profound sort of fool.
