Imagine a very very grumpy Australian Accent and IT Engineer/ public CPA Anal retentive genius and you have my mentor... telling me and telling you taht everything must be: 1) Specific - 2) Measurable- 3) Attached to Timeline 3a) People needed 3b) Resources Needed 3c) Budget - and ALL of this must have prior agreed to ways to measure the success of it = so what is the weekly / monthly success criteria that is set BY YOU- that determines the effectiveness of you money? Look for $500- that is $500 you can do a HELL of a lot with $500. And this should be all up for her / and atomized down to daily tasks! You should know at all times what is going on in your business... and what he should be doing - simply- we can put the work into google forms - that now resemble a game or survey- and any VA can pick up and do. All these forms- auto populate a spreadsheet weekly report card he or SHE (Virtual Team mate) then goes over with her (YOUR SISTER) every end of week...that gives her at a glance what is going on. So lets cut the BS and do this with your sister-sharing this is nothing unless its done so maybe this is a catalyst - this is my religion -i do this with teams and SME people all day every day. Get a cup of coffee and a big pad of paper you can write on...(whiteboard works) Ask What the HELL do we need to MAKE in terms on money? Customers? etc. Simple common stuff= then you Set these are your Specific business objectives, (like we need to be getting 50 leads a month for that $500 spend to have some justification ROI (say you close 5 of those 50 leads example) ..... (Set some strategy to reach those fifty leads) = I would do these disciplines = 1) SOCIAL BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE 1a) (Analysis/ Listening, 1b) Engagement, 1c) Measuring, 2) Content, 3) Organic SEO, 4) Play with PPC in Google, and try 5) Dennis Yu blitzmetrics type Genius targeting for ads. **** THIS IS THE GENIUS HOT SAUCE.... You then map out the month objective for each of those Disciplines, break that down by the week, then the day for each of these disciplines in the tasks that have to be done. All of this is in one page of your shared google spreadsheet. ***** When you are done you have like a TV GUIDE only this is called =a map for the monthly schedule IN ADVANCE of blogs -titles, sources etc, tweets, video, memes, Tasks undertaken (the work) ***(* Now you can go further and create sales paths and marketing funnels = these are simply promotions and other gimmik stuff that you will use to bring in the people and sales. **** EVERY WEEK BEGINNING you need to map out a NEW marketing funnel - slideshare.net/.../tony-shap-presents-sales... damn that was long....
