IBPS 2014 IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) 2014 examination will be conducted starting from 6th December 2014 to 27th December 2014. This examination conducts to fill the vacancies of clerks in Public sector banks except State Bank Group. Registration for this examination already started from today. Candidates who were interested to apply for this examination can apply till 1st September 2014. Salary for this cadre is around Rs.20000. Candidates who were shortlisted in this examination need to undergo the process of Interview. Eligibility: Completion of Graduation from the recognised university by Government of India or equivalent qualification which should be recognised by Central Government. Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 20 years to 28 years. Selection Process: Based on the performance shown in the written test and interview. Exam Pattern: This is the online mode of examination which consists of 5 sections. Duration of the examination is 2 hours with the total marks of 200. Sections included in this examination were Computer Knowledge (40 marks), General Awareness with special reference to the Banking Industry (40 marks), Numerical ability (40 marks), English Language (40 marks) and Reasoning (40 marks). Negative marking is applicable. For each wrong answer 1/4th marks will be deducted. Syllabus of the examination will be available after 17th November 2014. In this examination banks which were participating were Punjab and Sind Bank, Central Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Canara Bank, Vijaya Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Bank of Maharashtra, United Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, Bank of India, Union Bank of India, Indian Bank, Bank of Baroda, UCO Bank, Dena Bank, Andhra Bank, Syndicate Bank, Corporation Bank and Allahabad Bank. Cut off marks of the examination will depend upon the number of vacancies available. Witten examination conducts for 200 marks and interview will be conducted for 100 marks. (Source-aegindia.org)
