+IDP Youth Camp The Institutional Development Program (IDP) is pleased to announce the first IDP Young Leaders Camp. a leadership training for young blind and partially sighted people from Africa. Hosted in collaboration with the South African National Council for the Bind and EcoAccess, the 1st Young Leaders Camp will be a two-week training and recreational experience that will take place from September 8th - 22nd at the Delmas Environmental Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa. Application Procedure The admission process for the Camp is very competitive as the course can only admit up to a maximum of 20 participants. Applicants are therefore advised to adhere to the application requirements. Any incomplete applications shall not be considered. All applicants must submit the following documents as part of their application dossier: - The Camp Application Form duly completed - A Currivulum Vitae with information on education, employment, contacts, etc - A signed recommendation letter from an agency of, for or working with blind people - An essay of not more than 1,200 words describing your vision as a change agent Applications must be sent to [email protected] to be received not later than 15th July 2013. Selected applicants shall be notified by 31st July 2013.
