ILGA Europe need lots of diverse LGBTI people to film themselves by 22nd April saying a few short sentences for a new LGBTI campaign video for the European Elections in May: Message from ILGA Europe: We are making a campaign video with the aim to encourage more people to vote in the European elections in May. We already have a handful of famous faces to feature in the video, but we would also like to involve LGBTI people from across the EU – and this is here you come into the picture: Would you like to spend 5 minutes of your time and feature in this campaign video? You can basically do it straight away with a smart phone or tablet. The production agency which is helping us have made a fun short demo video, so you can see how easily it can be done: https://youtube/watch?v=AnO1CXSGKVI&feature=youtu.be We ask you to look natural and relaxed and to avoid appearance before official banners or logos ect. You can find the very short script below (choose between the two different options), and if you have questions on the script then do not hesitate to ask. Script 1: My name is [insert your name], I am from [insert your country]. My country has made great progress for LGBTI people. It took decades – the EU came out and made a difference. Script 2: My name is [insert your name], I am from [insert your country]. In my country LGBTI people have so much more to fight for. We need the EU to come out. If you want to be part of it, we ask you to send your little statement before Tuesday (22 April) – we know it is a short notice, but since this is just a matter of 5 min of your time, then we hope that you are able to help out!
