ILP Interim Political Leader Jack Warner: An ILP team has put together criteria for persons wishing to serve this country at the level of Local Government. The criteria define the quality of representation that is expected of the successful candidate and defines the parameters which will be used to determine that selection. Two weeks from now, persons vying to be candidates will be invited to a Local Government Convention at the Sepp Blatter Hall at the João Havelange Centre of Excellence where the guidelines for an ILP candidacy will be unveiled. We will keep the information clear and simple and the process transparent so at the end of the day unsuccessful candidates will be able to see where they failed so that they can improve in those areas for the next elections and embrace the opportunity to offer Trinidad and Tobago stronger and better representation.
