IM NOT WILD ABOUT HARRY!! (Poem by Joe Esposito) It was Thursday in Washington DC and the Senate was in session It was filled with hyper partisan activity Most felt a sense of depression Slimy Harry was hated by the GOP This was always the case But what he had planned no one could foresee To be truthful it was a disgrace The Republicans obstructed in every way They did it with such venom and bluster You could always hear each of them say, Thank The Lord for the filibuster!! Harry was determined as ever to fight them as best he could That was plain to see But he was about to do what he never said that he would He so detested the Tea Party He called the Minority leader to his desk and in a moment of high drama and said something so grotesque Mitch, Its over. Im gonna NUKE ya! The nuclear option would once and for all end the GOP obstruction The Dems were so brazen and full of gall The hell if it caused much destruction Two centuries of fillibustering would come to an abrupt abort This meant one very sad thing Obama could now easily pack the court!!
