IMPORTANCE OF 24 SEPTEMBER On Sunday 23 September 1984, there was Welcome Back Puttee (party) Parade in the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) for members of courses and some new intakes of 36 Regular Course took part. The outcome of the party was something to write home about. On Monday 24 September 1984, members of 36 RC were officially recognized as Officer Cadets that started the much-vaunted and invaluable Degree Programme in this prestigious institution. With comportment of resilience, perseverance, introspection and determination, members of 36 RC set the pace and graduated. Although with varied experiences, members must realize that life is like riding a bicycle, you dont fall off until you stop pedalling. Certainly, until there is a pressure, the pleasure of life wont come out. Gentlemen of 36RC, always remember that endurance song.....
