IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Hi Guys! Im involved with a really interesting new political news website which seeks to present Russia in a positive light. Its being done by a group of expats in Moscow. It is very high quality, and very well thought out. We are looking for volunteers to help make this happen. We cant pay anything at this point, but it looks like that may soon be a possibility. So this is a chance to get involved in something with a lot of potential. We arent live with a site yet, but should be shortly, so watch this space for updates. Age and experience are not critical. New responsibilities come up all the time, and we dont care how young you are or what your experience is. If you can get the job done, well let you run with it. We are based in Moscow, but can work with people anywhere, There are opportunities in the following areas: * Writers * Editors * Copy editors * People who can write great headlines * Translators - (French, German, Russian, Spanish. We are eager to start mirror sites in all these languages, even in truncated form) * Picture editors (just obtaining pictures and then matching them with articles.) * Web design * SEO (Search engine optimization) * Social media management and promotion We have a particular need for people who can write about: * Russia, former Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, Europe * Chinese affairs as they relate to Russia * International relations * Military affairs, analysis of what is happening on the ground in the Ukraine * Global economics * The Russian orthodox church * The Russian economy We also need people who can do media monitoring and criticism: * US * UK * French * German We also need people who could monitor the Russian and/or Ukrainian media and source useful info from them.
