*** IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT *** It is with a heavy heart that I must make this statement... Due to increasing problems with my voice, I am forced to announce that from today on, I am on official vocal rest. Fortunately, I have been assured by my doctors that this is only a temporary situation and Ill be back on the band wagon as soon as I am fit. When that will be is entirely dependant on how fast my recovery is. It is one of the hardest decisions Ive ever been forced to make because my life without singing is a hard pill to swallow, but to ensure that the damage to my vocal chords is only temporary, its a small sacrifice for the greater good of my future as a performer. Thanks to all promoters and event planners for your patience, understanding and support and also to some of my fellow singer friends (you know who you are) for your advice and giving me comfort in knowing that this is quite a common issue, that Im not alone and that with time, Ill get back on my feet. Finally, Thank you all for your support, encouragement and well wishes. You always hear me say this but without you, I cant do what I love to do and because of you, I want to keep singing. So Ill just take the rest and do everything I can to make sure that Im back in full flight as soon as possible. Ill keep you all updated as things progress. Thanks for reading. With Love Jason Ps.
