IMPORTANT LETTER FOR ALL MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY!! Dear member, The Estia Festival 2014 begins on Saturday 22nd March at Princess Wharf 1. We have chosen this magnificent venue to celebrate our 21st successive Estia Greek Festival This year’s program will include performances from local and interstate musicians and dance groups, Taverna Night, Lecture, Golf Day, the entertaining and competitive Soccer match Greeks versus the Italians and the highlight of the program is the Festival on Saturday 22ndand Sunday 23rd March in which Princess Wharf is transformed into a ‘Greek Village’ to showcase our Greek Culture including entertainment, arts and crafts, fabulous food and wine which will be available through our ‘Taste of Greece’ stalls. Estia is proudly organised and strongly supported by volunteers within the Greek Community of Tasmania and I thank each and everyone for their tireless efforts over the past 20 years. An Event such as the Estia Festival requires an enormous amount of effort from our volunteers and cannot be organised without your kind support in helping the Greek Community of Tasmania to hold such a prestige event showcasing Greek Culture and Cuisine Again this year we ask for your help and assistance to join us into making this year’s Estia Festival a highlight in the Tasmanian Festive Calendar. There will be an Estia Meeting on Tuesday 4th February at Greek Community Board Room Federal Street North Hobart 7.30pm. This meeting is an information and planning night for the Festival.
