President NAP Nepal ([email protected]) I received email from Pratik. He suggests 10 lectures in India starting early Febr and ending my lecture trip with 1 lecture in Nepal by mid April. I wrote him that this is impossible. The maximum time I can be away from the US is 50 days: 1.5 days travel to India, 40 days in India. The first 7 days in India I cannot lecture as the jet lag will be killing me, 7 days Nepal, 1.5 days travel back to the US. That adds up to 50 days. However, I have only 40-7=33 days in India that I can lecture (7 days jet lag). My lectures have to be a minimum of 5 days apart. Thus I can only give 6 (maybe 7) lectures at different Universities in India (similar to 2014); 6 would be highly preferred. Thus 3 or 4 of the 10 Universities that are now on the list will have to be deleted. I have written this to Pratik and I leave it up to him which he wants to delete. His 10 lecture plan in India would mean that I would be about 70 days away from the US. That is not possible. BRAZIL in Joao Pessoa. Date to be determined.
