IMPORTANT NEWS for CTO Roanoke River Delta! Hi Everyone, I have some important things to share with you about our Roanoke River Delta Chapter! First of all, 92.3% of you that responded to the Survey Monkey question wanted to keep our CTO chapter meetings on Sunday night. So Sunday night it is! Secondly, I have been asked to settle on a fixed night each month to have our CTO meetings so people can plan their schedules more easily. This has been a hard one for me to do because of my schedule and I selfishly don’t want to miss any of our meetings. But I have some great men who have been helping me long enough that they can step up and run the meetings in my absence. I have decided that we will have our meetings on the 3rd Sunday of each month. So here are our meeting dates for the next year for you to mark on your calendar: August 10th Family Night at Lake Phelps Sept 21st Oct. 19th Nov. 16th Dec. 21st (in all likelihood, we will have to adjust this date when it gets closer because of church programs on the Sunday night before Christmas) Jan 18th Feb. 15th Mar. 15th Apr. 19th May 17th Jun. 21st Jul. 19th Aug. 16th Thirdly, because we frequently are rushing to finish our meetings by 8:00 pm and many times don’t get everything in, I have decided to no longer serve a meal. I polled other CTO chapters that have been operating longer than we have and they just offer drinks and snacks. The only time they serve a meal is when they have Family Night. We will still meet from 6:30-8:00 pm, but the boys will need to eat supper beforehand so we have more time to do the fun stuff!
