IMS technicians, Barry Maltimore & Iman Aaron, departed for Republic of Congo on May 3rd to volunteer aboard the Africa Mercy Ship for 2 weeks. We are incredibly grateful and excited for them to have this experience. With only a couple more days on the ship, here are a few words from Iman about their experience thus far. “Hey Toney!!!! Hope all is well. Things here have been super busy!!!! We have serviced 200 trays as well as 200-300 peel packs. We have been working late everyday trying to stay caught up. Everyone has been really kind to us and happy about the work we are doing. We are stopped on a daily basis by people aboard the ship just to say thank you for taking care of the instruments. This trip has been really amazing! I wish I could come back every year! Here are a couple of pictures, the Africans that work on the ship love us so they come by all day the see what we are doing and to laugh and talk. I cant thank you enough for giving me this opportunity. There are not enough words or tears to describe how this feels.” -Iman Aaron
