IN ORDER TO GO TO HEAVEN YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE HOLY GHOST! Proven facts IF YOU ARE NOT FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST YOUR NOT GOING TO BE ACCEPTED INTO HEAVEN! Read this all below it will blow ur mind............... Romans 14:17-18 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. A. SALVATION Theres no one here wants to be lost. All of us of course or we wouldnt be here. The Scriptures teach you have to have the Holy Ghost or you cant be saved. If they don’t say it you can’t teach it for doctrine. The Scriptures do not mince words. Too many ministers, with aspirations of building huge churches have not taught the Word straight. Too many people in this day and age preach warm-fuzzy, I claim Christ as my personal Saviour type of Christianity. They preach whatever people want, or do not want, to hear. And the people will say: I just don’t feel that I have to do this. I don’t care what the scriptures say I just don’t believe a kind and loving God means it like that . . . So to build large social centers, they preach all kinds of utter nonsense! The worst thing you could ever hear from the lips of a so-called Christian is I don’t care what the scriptures say . . . But, what really matters in this world is not what you or I say, it isn’t even what an angel says to you. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Galations 1:8 It’s what the word of God says! If it says it in the word you can depend on it! God said it and it’s not going to change whether you believe it or not. Who made you God that you can change His word? So, for us to be saved, we absolutely must, without fail: Listen to God’s word Be faithful to God’s word Be obedient to God’s word The prophet Samuel told King Saul that obedience is better than sacrifice. You can’t obey your way into heaven, and you do need to obey those in authority over you. But you can disobey yourself into hell! Right now let’s look at a couple of scriptures that talk about the Holy Ghost and heaven. John 3:5-6 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Bottom line. You want to go to heaven? You have to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost; with the initial sign of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance. If you have to have the Holy Ghost to enter into the kingdom of heaven, it stands to reason that if you don’t have it you can’t go to heaven. You don’t have it! You aren’t going. End of story! But if you don’t do this then the rest of the plan of Salvation doesn’t really matter anyway. Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. As one who has not obeyed the plan, you are dead in your trespasses and sin. No question about it! If you want to rise from the dead in newness of life, you need to have that life dwelling in you. One must be sure that the Holy Ghost is dwelling in you every single day! We must let God have his way in your life every day. We will all die in this flesh, that’s a given. For it is appointed unto man once to die then cometh the judgement. I remember a preacher saying You’ll either die young or you’ll die ugly, but you will die. You can’t rise from the dead to eternal life in heaven if you don’t have the Holy Ghost. You will rise to judgement with the devil if you don’t have the Holy Ghost living in you when this old flesh dies. You need the Holy Ghost to purge you from the old sin nature that dwells in us as lost souls. But when we come to Christ and repent of our sins, confess him as our Savior, get baptized in Jesus name, and get filled with the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues, that old nature is purged from us completely. That is until you allow it to come back into your spirit again. Then the condemnation returns that comes from our accuser the devil. But listen to these statements in Romans 8:1: There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: If we are going to go to heaven If we are going to call ourselves Christians If we want to hear God say Well done thou good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord If we want God to recognize us as one of His children. We have to be full of His spirit. No ifs, ands, or buts about it! Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, We are sealed by the spirit. That is the seal of God on our souls folks. With out the seal of God on our souls we don’t get into heaven. Just like the devil will have 666 stamped on the fore head or right hand of his followers we are going to be stamped with God’s seal of approval on our souls. 1 Peter 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. 2 Thessalonians 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. We are sanctified and cleansed by the spirit of the Holy Lord God. No unclean thing will be able to enter into his presence. No unclean thing will enter the kingdom of God. No unclean thing will be allowed into heaven. Don’t you want to go to heaven? You can’t go unless you are sanctified by the Holy Ghost. We do not preach your need of the Holy Ghost just so you will feel good. We preach the Holy Ghost so you can be changed from your old nature. We preach you need the Holy Ghost so you will be saved! Don’t you want to be saved from a devils burning hell today? B. Worship John 4:23-24 But the cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. We arent even worshipping God until were in the spirit. If were going to be true worshippers of the most high God, we must enter into the Spirit of the most high God. God will not allow anyone into His kingdom that isnt full of His spirit. We have to worship God not only in spirit but in His spirit. We have to worship Him in His own spirit which is the spirit of truth. So if we can’t worship Him in spirit and in truth, God doesn’t dwell in us. We ust seek Him daily so that His spirit is fresh in us at all times. You can’t be raised from the dead if the spirit that dwells in you isn’t living. We need a living spirit in us to lift us up. We need to have a Living Spirit in us if we’re going to worship the most high God in spirit and in truth. Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. You can’t be raised up from the dead into newness of life without His spirit dwelling in you. You’re dead in your sins until the spirit of God dwells in you. Can you believe that people claim to be saved and say they dont need the Holy Ghost! That its optional? What a bunch of garbage! You have to be filled with the Holy Ghost: No ifs, ands, or buts about it! We have to have the Holy Ghost to enter into true worship. We have to enter into true worship to enter into the kingdom. Do you have the Holy Ghost? Do you want it? Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. We arent even effectively praying until we enter into the spirit. We can only pray so much with the words that we have in our own vocabulary. Sometimes there are no words for what we want or need to say to God. We just can’t express the thoughts, the needs that we have to the Lord. Sometimes we need God to do something so badly that we can only groan in our spirit and hope that God understands what we need. God does understand what we need because the Spirit is making our groans and utterings known to God. The flesh understands the things of the flesh, but the Spirit understands spiritual things. If you truly want to worship God, worship Him with your life! Your life and the way you live it, is the greatest form of worship you can give to your creator. Now that doesn’t mean that you don’t have to worship God in the other forms that we’ve just mentioned. It is just that your life is the form of worship that sinners will see most often. Most sinners won’t go to a church first to see Jesus. But they do see how you worship your God by how you live your life. What does your witness say about your God? What does it say about your walk with God? Take a moment to look inside yourelf right now. Look deep inside your heart and ask yourself Have I given my all for Christ? Have I given my all for Christ today? Have I served the Lord my God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. Have I held back, or did I give it everything I had. When you think you’ve given it everything you’ve got, ask yourself, if I was God would I be satisfied with the effort I put out? Every one of us at times fall short of what we need to be doing for God in the area of worship. Some more than others but everyone of us falls short at some time. Ask God to renew Himself in your life. That His Holy presence would be made more manifest in your life. That He would teach us to let the Holy Ghost take over our life as we try to serve God better. As you try to worship Him better, try to be better at every thing you say or do. There is no one among us who can live without God in our life. Without God youre spinning you wheels and going nowhere fast. Give your all to god and see the places He can take you in His spirit. We need to be renewed in the Holy Ghost tonight. We need to be renewed in the Holy Ghost every night. That’s why we need to fast and pray and study the word of God. We need to recognize His presence and be obedient to His leading
