INCREASE YOUR CONFIDENCE IN PUBLIC SPEAKING Wednesday 19 March, 1.30 to 4.30pm Do you quake in your shoes when you have to speak in public? Design Factory are offering a workshop to help anyone who wants to increase their confidence when speaking in public. Laura Field of Spoken Word Studio will teach you how to project your voice and develop clarity of speech using whole class and group exercises, and by giving constructive feedback. This workshop will help you to gain confidence in presenting yourself, giving interviews and dealing with the media. It is ideal for designer/makers and artists, but anyone who has to speak in public would benefit from the workshop. You’ll gain confidence when dealing with the public, receive expert advice and useful tips that you will keep for life and to help you grow as a professional. Public Speaking takes place on Wednesday 19 March at the Focus Gallery, Derby Road, Nottingham from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. It is free for Design Factory members to attend and £15 for non-members.
