INMATE TRUSTEE WHO WALKED OFF LITTER DETAIL JOB IN DEQUINCY IS IN CUSTODY Lake Charles – This morning at approximately 6:20 inmate trustee Shane Keith Hilton who walked off of his Calcasieu Correctional Center trustee job on litter detail at Marcantel Rd. and Hwy. 27 in DeQuincy yesterday afternoon was captured. Detectives learned through their investigation that he was at a trailer park at 601 Goss Rd., in Westlake. The CPSO ACT Team arrived at the trailer park and found Hilton sitting in a truck he had stolen earlier in the evening from a home on Holbrook Park Rd. He was taken into custody after a brief struggle. Hilton will be charged with simple escape, theft of a motor vehicle, and resisting arrest.
