INSANELY REPETITIVE Liverpool FC 2-2 Middlesbrough (AET 14-13 pens). YIKES. To translate, Liverpool FC and Middlesbrough were tied, 2-2, after 90 minutes of regulation play and 30 minutes of extra time. So the teams went to the penalty-kick tiebreaker. After the prescribed five kicks each, each side had scored four. The exercise continued until one team made it, and one team missed it. It took a while. Liverpool won the shootout, 14-13. LFC advances in the Carling Cup. A fitting end to an silly evening. Watch all the PKs beginning at the 3:50 mark of this video. Insanely repetitive. But a wins a win. After a 2-3 start in the English Premier League, Ill take what I can get. #YNWA
