INSPIRATION FOR SIGNIFICANCE Power to get Wealth Deuteronomy 8:18 NKJV And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. We have established that the core issue in financial excellence is value exchange. However, what advantage do we have over the fellow who has no covenant with God. I submitted a proposal and so did he. I have value to offer, and so does he! Is there any advantage to us as believers? Quite a lot. Over the next few weeks, we will be looking into our advantage as believers in financial excellence. The word translated power in this verse is the Hebrew equivalent of the Greek word dunamis, which means energy. It is sometimes used to refer to what comes upon a prophet like in Micah 3:8; But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord... So it refers then to the anointing. It is divine influence. It is not just ability, it is influence, it is the anointing! This means that every person who partakes of the covenant of Abraham has an anointing for wealth. There is something right now, on you, that is designed to cause you to be wealthy! Since we have established that wealth comes through value exchange, then understand that there is something on you RIGHT NOW and its job is to ensure that exchange transactions you initiate prosper and yield wealth to you! It ensures that buyers locate you, prefer you and patronize you. It gives you wisdom to package well! It releases power to ensure the deal is concluded! It puts you in favour with your potential and present clients! It is the anointing TO GET WEALTH and it is REAL! Halleluia! We will look at how to stir up this anointing all through this week!
