INSPIRED THOUGHTS By Moses Hightower “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9) * The Lord is your sun and your shield. He has given you grace and glory. No good thing is withheld from you, for he has supplied you with grace to walk uprightly. Do not take any thought about tomorrow, for tomorrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Things are threatening you; therefore, say to these things, “God is for me and no one can be against me.” He did not spare his only Son. He delivered him up for everyone. Don’t you know that he will also freely give you all things. You are justified by faith. Now who will lay any charge to God’s elect? * Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, which is, which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. He is the first and the last. He was dead, but now he is alive forevermore. He has the keys of hell and of death. No one can enter into life unless he opens the door of entrance for him or her. He also opens the door of death. By his hand was the foundation of the earth made, and his right hand spanned the heavens. He formed you from your mother’s womb, and he made all things. He is the one that stretched forth the heavens alone, and he spreads abroad the earth by himself. He confirms the word of his servants and raises up the decayed places of the earth. * Jesus is providing you with a worship center so that you and those who follow you might worship him in spirit and in truth. He is your Shepherd; therefore, do not want. He has made you to lie down in new pastures and led you beside fresh, still waters. Here your soul is restored. He is leading you in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even if you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, do not fear any evil, for he is with you, and his rod and staff are given to you for comfort. A table is prepared before you in the presence of your enemies. He has anointed your head with oil, and your cup is running over. Goodness and mercy are following you all the days of your life. Now dwell in his house all the days of your life.
