INSTITUT KIMIA MALAYSIA (Malaysian Institute of Chemistry) We are a professional scientific body incorporated under the Chemists Act 1975. The Institute regulates the practice of chemistry in Malaysia, represents the profession of chemistry in Malaysia and promotes public awareness and appreciation of chemistry in Malaysia. We are located in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur and have immediate vacancies for the following position: SCIENTIFIC OFFICERS (2 vacancies) Responsibilities: · The primary responsibility is to assist in the development of Malaysian Standards and provide secretarial and administrative support to the Standards Development Agency of the Institute including preparation of letters, reports, notice of meetings and taking of minutes. · To maintain and facilitate smooth operations in the administrative and secretarial functions, through the maintenance of records, handling enquiries, preparing letters of correspondence. · To coordinate and make arrangements for appointments, meetings, travel and accommodation reservations. · To assist in organizing events / functions of the Institute · Discharge any other related duties and responsibilities that may be directed by the Management from time to time.
