I dont mind you posting things on my wall but please check with me before doing so next time. Thanks.” Maggie- “Please help me to spread the protest info and be there to see whats going on.” Thomas- “I am in Taiwan right now though. Will be glad to help upon my return in April.” Maggie- “Thats fine. So far 6 are willing to go with me on Mar. 21, they are the hope of all.” Thomas- “Nothing will be given for free. Need alliance to defeat SCA-5.” Maggie- “Yeah. I have got connected with Vietnamese, Indian, Korean, and some other Asian group leaders. And it went so successful that has shocked me…” Thomas- “Great. Glad to see it. Education is Chinese Americans most valued thing. Keep up the good work. Will love to help upon my return.” Maggie- “I need your help right now. Even you are not here, you can do a LOT of thing in Taiwan still.” Thomas- “Let me know.” Maggie- “Please spread the protest info to Taiwan media, ordinary people, and anyone may care of, be interested in eye witnessing this GREAT social event that may lead to a real Democracy progress in the Asian world.” Maggie- “I am not doing this for Chinese Americans; I am doing this for all Asians, as well as the other people in the whole world.” Thomas- “Are you an American citizen?” Maggie – “Yeah. I am doing this at the risk of life. But I am prepared to sacrifice.” “I’m showing my determination with action in the public, rather than complaining privately.” Thomas- “Lets keep the name straight. We are Americans of Asian descent. I saw some banners in protests saying they are Chinese or Taiwanese, etc. If we recognize that we are Americans, then we have no rights at all.” Maggie- “Yeah! This is exactly what I thought in mind, but most Chinese groups against me.” “I questioned ‘why’ and thought it over and over. Then I drew a conclusion- Chinese groups are afraid of being united with other communities. They have been separating, isolating from the majority for a long while and have got used to it. Even most of them knew that they have been punished again and again, they still don’t wish to do things in American way. Sigh!” Maggie- “I love America more than any Chinese Americans. Shall the minority Asian people like me Being punished for those who hold a typical Chinese conceptual thinking?” Thomas- “I think you should work with other groups. I support peaceful way to state our case. Don Sun seems to be the leader of the group, right? You should also talk to Peter Kuo who is running for Senator.” Maggie- “Yes. I did. But they all rejected me. Tell me why???”
