Nepali flag -> Nepal is the only one country in the world which has non-quadrilateral national flag.Nepali flag has a Combination of two red pennons with a blue border, with a sun and crescent moon, where Red is the sign of victory and blue border symbolizes the peace and harmony. Mount Everest -> Mount Everest(Nepali: Sagarmatha), which is located in Nepal is the worlds highest mountain.Also, Nepal has 8 out of the world’s 14 highest mountains including the Mount Everest. Lord Gautam Buddha - Nepal is the birth place of Lord Gautam Buddha(who is also known as Light Of Asia).He was born in Lumbini which lies in Rupandehi District of Nepal.Lumbini is also listed in the UNESCO World Heritage. Species -> Nepal is also known as Amazon of Asia.Nepal has more than 360 species of Orchid which constitutes over 2% of the world’s orchids, 8 % of the total species of birds found in the world, more than 360 species of Orchid which constitutes over 2% of the world’s orchids & Nepal comprises 6% of the world’s rhododendron species. Rare Animals -> Clouded Leopard, a rare animal in the world is found in the dense forest of the mid Himalayas of Nepal.Red Panda,this animal live in the dense grass and bamboo areas which is also a rare animal in the world.Another most rare animal in the world One-Horned Rhino are mostly found in the terai region of Nepal. The main habitat and living place of this animal are the Royal Chitwan National Park and Bardiya National park. World Heritage - There are 830 sites or places that are listed in the World Heritage list by UNESCO as cultural and natural heritage having an most important value in the world.Out of these 10 are from Nepal,among them 2 National park of Nepal are listed as Natural site & other 8 sites are listed as Cultural sites.
