INTERNAL AUDIT INTERNS experience an exciting and accelerated 10-12 week program, and under the supervision of experienced internal audit professionals, will participate in real audits reviewing a wide range of business operations and facility functions at our manufacturing factories, distribution centers, sales offices, headquarter and other locations. INTERNS ARE FULL AND VITAL members of our team that ensures the success of Nestle’ North America by constantly reviewing internal controls and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: UNDERSTAND - Gain a comprehensive understanding of the internal audit framework—from internal control reviews & development of supporting work papers. INVESTIGATE - Look for irregularities, discrepancies and deviations from assigned procedures & ensure practices are supported by evidence and documentation. Identify opportunities for profit and performance improvements, cost avoidance & the most efficient utilization of corporate resources. EVALUATE - Make recommendations for corrective action using confident & informative presentations to leadership and team members.
