INTERSTELLAR. Christopher Nolan brings yet another remarkable film experience. Earth on brink of expiration, a secret undertaking to find new home, and commentary upon human perseverance serves as a constant undertone. It is however technology and special effects that bring this film to another level. McConaughey is superb...again...and supporting roles give a solid performance too (Hathaway, Chastain). The flow of first hour is a bit disjointed, but soon forgotten as space sequences of the film transform your consciousness to another dimension. Amazing flight scenes and space interactions allow viewers to remain on edge of the seat, while side flashes of human parallel give it meaningful correlation. Visual background is outstanding, paired beautifully with stunning original score by Hans Zimmer. Some may get lost in the technical and science background (see: wormholes, time dilation or singularity)of the film, yet the visuals and an emotional tone remains as a driving force keeping you engaged throughout. In the end, Interstellar is a marvelous treat upon sensory, even if it could have explored deeper upon its plot lines and left us with more answers. Alike Space Odyssey it is a film evoking reflection and inspiration, whilst staying clear of teaching a lesson. One might say, it is an art of exploration which makes it special; a journey worth an experience. RED CURTAIN RATING: 8/10 VERY GOOD
