INTRODUCING......drum role... John COWBOY Wayne My lil man has had an extremely difficult journey in his approx. 12-13 yrs... After 1/2 lb of disgusting mite filled, matted, filthy hair was so carefully removed from his little body, it revealed open wounds, overgrown toenails, severely arthritic back legs, one lil knee cant completely bend, turns inward and is bowed. He was underweight (now 3.6 pounds), 1 tooth, Eyes have beginning stages of glaucoma, a temperature due most likely to an infection which was probably from the open wounds and bites that had been untreated for who knows how long. He spent 10 days in the shelter and no kennel cough! Thats a miracle. Cowboys health was serious/critical the first two weeks but between his doctors, staff, relentless mom and a whole bunch of prayers, he made it!!! And that is why he was named after a legend... He has Grit.... TRUE GRIT..... Thank you Lord, Thank you St. Francis for bringing him home, where he belongs...
