INVITATION You are invited to attend a BMACHO General Meeting and Workshop: When: Saturday, 19 October 2013 from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm Where: Blue Mountains Cultural Centre, Parke Street, Katoomba The guest speaker at the general meeting will be Wendy Hawkes, Cultural Development Officer with Lithgow City Council and Curator at Eskbank House, Lithgow. Wendy will speak about the lives of Sir Joseph Cook and Dame Mary Cook. A light lunch will be provided, (catered by the Cultural Centre and at BMACHO expense), at the Cultural Centre at approximately 12.30 pm After lunch, from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm (or earlier) we will hold a workshop, where a suggested format for an "Explorers Cultural Trail" brochure will be presented. We will then ask for your input. A small committee of Richard Woolley (BMHS), Scott Pollock (Everglades Historic House & Gardens), Wendy Hawkes (LCC) and Lynn Collins (BMCC and LCC Museums Adviser), was formed after the BMACHO workshop, which was held recently at the Mt Victoria & District Historical Society Museum.
