IPAC USA, INC External Posting Title: IT SOX Consultant Location: IL- Schaumburg Position Category: IT Information Technology Job Summary: Engage, own and operate aspects of IT SOX requirements and ensure that related governance, risk and assurance Group requirements are executed. Job Function • Implement the Group SOX requirements for IT. • Provide process oversight and consulting; execute supporting tasks assuring quality and integrity of SOX frameworks for IT. • Support/ participate in Group SOX initiatives on behalf of IT. • Maintain, manage and monitor compliance to the SOX frameworks. • Provide support of SOX exceptions, report status to management and advice on corrective actions. • Assist coordination and implementation of appropriate IT SOX reporting capabilities across Group IT. • Provide consultancy for analysis and identification of broader systematic issues based on results of SOX. • Provide consultancy to GIT on SOX requirements. • Partner with regional stakeholders, e.g Group IT functions, Central SOX team, Group Risk Management, Group Compliance, Group Audit and business leaders Preferred Skills & Abilities: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Computer Science or a related field • Minimum 8 years professional experience, at least 2 years working in area of SOX • Prior experience in Audit, risk management, governance, IT security and/ or compliance functions. • Proven experience dealing with ambiguous situations, and producing a consistent result with varied input. • Demonstrated capability to learn and adapt to new situations & requirements • Certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, ITIL, etc. are preferred. • Written personal recommendations from peers and those in the management chain upon request • Demonstrate success in delivering solutions targeted to business owner expectations both technical and non-technical in nature • Strong written and verbal skills in English Technical Skills: • Detailed knowledge of SOX. • Knowledge of control frameworks such as CobiT, ICF and ISO 2700x. • Good understanding of IT systems security in mainframe and client server environment. • Experience with Security Assessments. • Good project management skills. • Knowledge of and/or experience with GRC automation tools such as RSA/Archer Suite or similar products and tools a plus. Physical Environments: Required job duties are normally performed in a climate controlled office environment. Education Requirements: 4 year degree with emphasis in data processing/information systems.
