IRVINE VALLEY COLLEGE IS ANNOUNCING A DANCE SCHOLARSHIP for High School Dance Students in Orange County. IVC DANCE SCHOLARSHIP FOR INCOMING FRESHMAN Our department has decided to start a yearly scholarship for talented high school students who want to join our dance program. The scholarship will provide monies for 6 units of dance classes in the Fall of 2014 and 6 units for the Spring of 2015, thus allowing the student to start earning the units towards an AA Degree in Dance or a Certificate in Dance. Qualifications include: -Must be enrolled as a senior in high school dance program. -Must be recommended by your dance teacher to our program. -Must audition for the scholarship during the Spring Perspectives Open House day. -Must be planning to complete an AA or Dance Certificate at Irvine Valley College. Students must be a declared dance major or dance certificate student Have at least a 2.0 GPA Be enrolled in 6 units of dance.
